It’s my great joy to pen down a few lines. The Nirmala Higher Secondary School has created a history with its clear Moto “ LOVE AND SERVICE”. As it is said in the Holy Bible “I did not come to be served but to serve”. Nirmala School has been serving, through the stream of education by helping young people to emerge as a force for good society, to act as leaven.

“Every great achiever is inspired by a great mentor” Education today is given top priority as we are striving for holistic development of children and a hundred percent Literacy. Character building and inculcating moral values in children today is a mammoth task. The students of Nirmala are nurtured with value based education to become proud citizens of our country. The main focus of our vision is to provide “A world of opportunities” for the students to develop their intellect and creativity. If I had to choose a single symbol that represents this commitment, it would be that of a Door. Doors are passages into new realms and can spark our interest, leading us deeper into the expansiveness of the exterior world. The doors of opportunities at our school are many and students use them to burst forth like multi-colored fire works in pursuit of their dreams.

The mind of a human being is like a garden which can be intelligently cultivated or allowed to grow wiled with no care and maintenance. But if we plant good thoughts, it could bloom into a clean attractive area to be proud of. As Robert M. Hutchins says, “Education is to widen their horizon, inflame their intellect and teach to think straight” Have great hopes and dare to go all out of them , have great dreams and dare to live them, have tremendous expectation and believe in them. I believe that challenges come to reveal a need for change and/ or to provide an opportunity for growth. There can be no progress without accepting challenges.

“Discipline is the cement that binds the Army”, Discipline comes from the Latin word “Discipline” which means “Instruction”. It is the bridge between goals and accomplishment. Everyone in our school realizes that maintaining good behavior and high standards of behavior are important in helping children learn well, as well as build a wholesome personality. For school discipline to be successful we all, parents teachers and principal have been working together to instill the importance of discipline, there by promoting positive behavior and self discipline. We strive hard to make students to observe all rules and regulation as a matter of habit rather than as fear of punishment, the school is finally establishing a true learning atmosphere so that students value our school as a centre of learning and spiritual development, and in turn they will become the messengers of forgiveness, love, peace and unity to the society and world at large.

Sincerely
